I’ve been doing some thinking and restructuring of things and I’ve decided to delete my comics on here.

If anyone here enjoyed my comics, I am making this post to let you know that you can still find my comics on Tapas, Instagram, and DeviantArt, no problem.

I just kinda realized that my comics hadn’t been doing well on here. Last year, I was a scouted artist, but then a mod deleted one of my comic strips and descouted me.

I never understood why. I was simply told there was a “violation of terms” and to “review the art guidelines” which I did, but it didn’t explain what issue the mod had.

Then earlier this month, another one of my comics was removed without warning.

Again, The reason wasn’t quite clear as I had quite a few comics on here with a similar theme as the deleted ones, but apparently, those were fine for... some reason. While the two that were deleted were against the rules for…. another reason?

I Emailed Newgrounds Support to try to figure out what the issue was, but I never heard back.

This was when I realized some of the policies are vague and, as a result, the moderation is inconsistent. Every mod has a different definition in their head about what constitutes a violation of the rules.

The lack of any way to state your case and appeal a mod’s decision is a serious flaw.

Because of this, if a mod has any kind of issue with you whatsoever, there’s not much you can do about it. You won’t even know which mod it was, so you can’t even ask them why they did it.

And so, I’m done posting my comics on here. I’m not gonna post on a site where I feel like I have to constantly look over my shoulder and second guess myself.
